So how do you choose a leash that suits your dog? Traction ropes are generally divided into two categories: chest-back type and necklace type. For puppies, we generally use chest-back traction ropes. It is generally believed that necklace-type traction ropes are more controllable.
In addition to the type of leash, you should also choose a suitable size according to your dog's size. Generally speaking, we think that after the dog is tied to a good rope, it is best to still be able to put one finger into the rope. If an unsuitable traction rope is used, the size is too large and will not be effective in stopping the dog, and the dog will easily escape. When the dog rushes forward, the loose leash will cause the dog to encounter greater momentum. If you are not careful, you will be injured. If the size is too small, too thin and too tight, the dog will be strangled and may even have trouble breathing.
