Bolivian Phoenix (confirmed introduction)
The Bolivian Phoenix belongs to the short snapper species, also known as the pocket butterfly snapper. It is a species with a gentle nature and can be mixed with other species, and it is not very difficult to raise. Growing Bolivian Phoenix is not difficult, but for safety reasons, try not to let Bolivian Phoenix be mixed with other species during growth.
The most eye-catching feature of the Bolivian Phoenix is probably their beautiful red tail. It is among the largest species of short snapper. It was first recorded as Crenicara altispinosa in 1911 by Hassmann and was included in the genus Crenicara altispinosa. By 1966, Dr. Lulin, who served at the Alexander-Koenig Museum in Bonn, was in Todos, Bolivia. The Bolivian phoenix collected in the Sandos Mountains was mistaken by Dr. Menken for Apistogramma ramirei and included in the genus Small Geophagma. It was not until 1981 that Kurdland identified it as a member of the genus Siberian bream. What a bad luck.
