The Western Painted Turtle
The Western Painted Turtle is a relatively large group of people raised in the market. The hatchlings seen above are affordable and have a beautiful appearance. They are a relatively rare species of water turtle. The Western Painted Turtle is the largest subspecies. The length of adult turtles often exceeds 17.8cm, and the longest record is 25cm. The web-like pattern formed by dark patterns is characteristic of its carapace. The plastron is yellow or slightly red, with dark patterns branching along the seams of the shield, which looks confusing. The carapace color of hatchlings is light green. The accumulation of color is related to time, food, and basking conditions, and the color will become darker and darker.
